Her Master’s Project was on Reducing Low Back Pain during Pregnancy, a particular passion and something for which she experienced first-hand, as well. She has had a vast variety of patients and clients, from infants and children with congenital diagnoses, orthopedic, or traumatic injury to active and retired military who have sustained injuries of all kinds imaginable, both on home soil and while on deployment; treated sports injuries of all kinds—from high-level athletes to the weekend warrior--sustaining injuries on the field, court, ring, track, studio, or pool; and of course, clients with everyday injuries sustained from too much computer use or just in their regular workday commute. She knows accident and therapy from the patient perspective, as well, suffering a major car accident in 2012 and sustaining injuries for which doctor’s said she would never run again…and then she proved them wrong and rehabbed herself right back into competitive Racquetball—and in 2013 won the Female First-timer’s Division of World Outdoor Racquetball hosted in Huntington Beach. She is the proud mother of 3 young and highly physically active children, loves to travel regularly and participate in winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding, and has a passion for helping people return to a higher level of pain-free function so they can not only be productive in the workplace, but most of all—providing therapy to allow them to better enjoy their life, doing whatever activities that may include.
